There are two ways to this look, you either crossover or tie the ends. Things you’ll need: A Maxi scarf, puffy hair clip (optional) and pins👇.

STEPS: The Crossover

PicsArt_1438209636451First, fold one-third of the scarf over then place it on your head from the back to the front (as seen in the first image above) and cross both ends over each other. Make sure it’s tight and secure but not too tight, so you don’t feel uncomfortable. Next you take both ends already crossed, to the back and cross them over again, making sure it’s not too tight (see second and third image). Taking one of the crossed ends back to the front you tuck it in or pin it down (be careful you don’t want to pierce your head in the process 😓) as seen below. It should be laid properly so it doesn’t look bumpy or rough. You repeat the same step for the other end as well.

It should look like the image below👇when you are done. You can play around with it and move it backward a little bit, it’s up to you.

The Tie

Alternatively, instead of crossing over (for the fear of scarf slipping or need to readjust) you can tie it at the front first as seen in the first image. The next step is to take one end of the scarf and carefully lay it as you take it round to the front(see image 2, 3 & 4) then pin it down.

You do the same to the other end as well, making sure it’s laid properly. Below is the final look:
